Five projects will start in Bulgaria in 2009 with state loans and guarantees up to 874 million euro. The government decided two of them to be funded by state loans up to 47 million euro and three to be supported with state guarantee up to 827 million euro. A new gas-field was discovered in Bulgaria by the British company "Melrose resources", the British newspaper "Scotsman" writes. The gas-field is located in the Kavarna region, for which the company has a permit. "Melrose resources" supplies 15% of the natural gas in Bulgaria from the Galata field, which will become a depot. The Vice Premier and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivaylo Kalfin and the Minister of Labor and Social policies Emilia Maslarova were accepted by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea.
