Iraqi Debt to Bulgaria to Cover Trakia Highway
One part of Iraqi debt to Bulgaria will be allotted for the construction of the Trakia highway, the Premier Sergei Stanishev announced, quoted by The Standart. The Bulgarian Prime Minister attended on Tuesday the inspection of the already done sectors of Maritsa highway between Harmanli and Novo Selo.Premier Stanishev explains that the sum of $350 million, expected to be transferred from Iraq to Bulgaria by the end of June, presents considerable unplanned revenue to the budget. още »

New Airline Sofia - Brussels to be Opened
The Bulgarian ambassador for Belgium Hristo Georgiev opened the new airline of ‘Wizzair' Avio Company, which will connect Sofia with the second by size Belgium airport ‘Brussels - South - Charleroi. Bulgaria Ratifies a Gas Agreement
Bulgaria's National Assembly ratified the agreement between the governments of Bulgaria and the Russian Federation for cooperation in the construction of the gas pipe "Yuzhen Potok" (Southern Stream) for transportation of natural gas through Bulgaria's territory. Commission for Consumer Protection Acts on Meat Cartels
The Commission for Consumer Protection imposed sanctions for the amount of 293,000 levs to producers of eggs and poultry meat because of forbidden agreements.
