Bulgarian Inflation for April Breaks European Record
14,6 annual inflation announced from National Statistical Institute. The index for consumer prices for April this year compared to March 2008 is 100,9% and the inflation is 0,9%. The inflation for the period January - April 2008 compared to the same period last year is 13,6%.After the goods and the services with biggest price jump for April compared to March are: the alcohol drinks and tobacco - up with almost 3%, foodstuff and beverages - 1,3%, clothes and shoes - with increase of 1,6%. още »

1 Billion Levs Profit for Banks for the 8 Months of 2008
Bulgarian banks have reported 1 billion levs profit for the first 8 months of the year. This was announced by the manager of Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Ivan Iskrov for BNR (Bulgarian National Radio).The manager of the central bank surmised that by the end of the year the profit will reach 1,5 billion levs."The behavior of our banks shows that this will probably not be distributed as a dividend", the manager of BNB announced. още »

The Capital of "Toplifikatsiya" - Sofia Increased by 50 Million Levs
