Bulgarian Inflation for April Breaks European Record
14,6 annual inflation announced from National Statistical Institute. The index for consumer prices for April this year compared to March 2008 is 100,9% and the inflation is 0,9%. The inflation for the period January - April 2008 compared to the same period last year is 13,6%.After the goods and the services with biggest price jump for April compared to March are: the alcohol drinks and tobacco - up with almost 3%, foodstuff and beverages - 1,3%, clothes and shoes - with increase of 1,6%. още »

Bulgarian Trade Deficit Grows

Zhevago Pays Kremikovtzi's Debt

Bulgarian Deficit on the Current Account 11,5% of GDP
The deficit on the current account for the period January-June 2008 amounts to EUR 3,785 billion, which is 11.5% of GDP. In the same period last year the deficit was EUR 2,885 billion or 10% of GDP, BNB (Bulgarian National Bank) data shows. A major factor for the increase of the deficit on the current account is the increased deficit on the trade balance by EUR 1,028 billion, BNB points out. още »

Bulgarian Trade Deficit Reaches 7.56 Billion Levs
Bulgaria's trade deficit for the first six months of this year amounts to 7.56 billion levs, the National statistics institute (NSI) announces. Real Estate Prices at Bulgarian Seaside Decrease
The price of real estate at the Bulgarian seaside is lower compared to previous years, because demand is lower. This was announced by the real estate agency "Valen". New Control Tower at Sofia Airport by 2011
The new control tower of Sofia airport must be ready in 2010 or no later than 2011, the Director of RVD (Administration of Air Traffic) Emanuil Radev announced. On August 4 a jury of 15 members has chosen a project for the flight tower at an open anonymous competition. First place takes the project of "Arhitektonika studio" OOD which will receive the sum of 20,000 levs. още »
