An agreement for loan will be signed today between Bulgaria and the Japanese bank for international cooperation in the Granite Hall of the Council of ministers building.The loan is for funding a project “Establishment and development of new container terminals at the harbours of Burgas and Varna”. The village of Dzhulyunitsa  in the region of Veliko Tarnovo, more famous as the birthplace of the Bulgarian Kaloyan Mahlyanov – popular in Japan as Kotooshu, has won several projects, which will bring the biggest amount of investments in the history of the place. Plovdiv and Smolyan are in the top three on apartment price increase among the regional cities in the country, statistical data from the second quarter of the year shows. In Smolyan the prices of housing have increased by 12,7% compared to the previous three months of 2008. Only Kyustendil and Plovdiv, where the increase is respectively 14,9% and 13,2% are ahead of the Rhodope Mountain town, the territorial statistics bureau announces. още »

In 18-20 months the Bulgarian town of Razgrad will again have a plain glass plant. This announced Li Wei, vice-president of the Chinese holding “Luoyang” and Denis Barekov, owner of the Bulgarian company “Via properties”, which one year ago bought the bankrupt plant in Razgrad “Diamond”.The investment is between 80 million EUR and 120 million EUR. The Chair of the Bulgarian association of tourist agencies Donka Sokolova blamed the state and more specifically the Tourism Association for the drastic decrease of Scandinavian tourists from Bulgarian resorts. "Bulgargaz" has received 3 million levs from "Vorskla Steel", which covers a part of the obligations of the company for blue fuel. Sofia municipality opened a procedure for giving on a concession the construction of a lot “Central mineral bath – hydropathic and SPA center”, informed the municipality. The establishment is a public municipal property. Its all-out built-up area is 5603 sq.m. The place is given on a concession for the next 20 years.
