Foreign Investments in Bulgaria - Dirty Money Laundering?
As EU newcomer Bulgaria aims to attract ever larger flows of foreign investment, authorities and analysts have raised fears that part of the money streaming into the country may have been laundered. "A growing number of investigations come to a dead end as we find that money that we had good reason to consider dirty, or resulting from criminal activity, has been transferred through foreign banks and returned to Bulgaria as 'fresh' investment," said national investigation service chief Boyko Naydenov. още »

Bourgas - Alexandroupolis Construction to Start Within A Year
The construction of oil pipeline Bourgas - Alexadroupolis will start within a year, the chairman of political cabinet in Regional Development Ministry Stefan Gunchev declared. According to his words, the new pre-projecting examinations for the pipeline effectiveness have to be conformed to the new petrol's prices. Biggest Ukraine Metallurgic Company to Produce Steel in Bulgaria
The biggest metallurgic company of Ukraine intends to invest 1,5 billion EUR in the Bourgas ‘Promet Steel' mill, money.bg informed. The ‘Metinvest' Group, controlled by the magnate Rinat Akhmetov want to start the producing of only ready production and to stop the producing of half - ready production. Unit 5 of Bulgaria's Kozlodui NPP Ceased Over Repairs
The 1000 megawatt 5th energy unit of Kozlodui NPP was stopped for planned annual repairs, after was excluded of Bulgaria's energy system. The ceasing corresponds to the confirmed and agreed by Central control centre - Sofia annual schedule. It will be accomplish repair works and prevention of the equipment.
