Bulgaria showed interest in strategic partnership with Belgian company ‘Electrabel' for the construction of NPP ‘Belene'. That was announced by Bulgarian Economics and Energy Minister Peter Dimitrov after a meeting with representatives of the Belgian company. One part of Iraqi debt to Bulgaria will be allotted for the construction of the Trakia highway, the Premier Sergei Stanishev announced, quoted by The Standart. ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel maker, is understood to have emerged as the successful bidder for Bulgarian steel company Kremikovtzi. In a structured deal, ArcelorMittal is believed to have agreed to pay $1.2 billion for the Balkan country's largest steel mill.
